Since its inception in 1980 by Professor Emeritus Frederick Busch, Living Writers has welcomed an array of writers, from up-and-coming novelists to Pulitzer Prize winners.

On August 25, �Ա���Ƶ welcomed the Class of 2023 to campus — the first new class of the Institution’s third century.

�Ա���Ƶ Assistant Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences Lauren Philbrook is working with two student researchers to study how environmental factors and bedtime routines impact the sleep quality and patterns of young children.

Changes to �Ա���Ƶ’s Student Health Services this academic year will increase clinical care availability on campus while also bolstering sports-medicine support for Division I athletes, student club teams, and intramurals. 

MacDonell “Don” Roehm Jr. ’61 earned All-American and All-State honors for his skill as a �Ա���Ƶ soccer fullback. His passion for protecting �Ա���Ƶ athletics off the field as well was enshrined in a $4 million endowment bequest.

�Ա���Ƶ will begin its third century in a position of strength, thanks to the generosity of its worldwide community of alumni, parents, and friends.

Madison County’s Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program, of which �Ա���Ƶ is a partner, has expanded to provide services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year countywide, with options in where to obtain care.
