¸Ô±¾ÊÓÆµ hosted the grand opening of the C Store in the O’Connor Campus Center on Friday, Feb. 13, adding to the University’s ¸Ô±¾ÊÓÆµ Day celebrations.
The Washington National Opera will premiere Associate Professor of Theater Kyle Bass’s Rendition of Treemonisha on March 7, 8, and 15 at the Lisner Auditorium on the campus of George Washington University.

¸Ô±¾ÊÓÆµ Dean of Students Dorsey Spencer was selected by the HBCU Executive Leadership Institute at Clark Atlanta University to be a part of its 2026 Community of Fellows.

¸Ô±¾ÊÓÆµâ€™s 2026 celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Week, held Jan. 22–31, kicked off with a keynote address by activist Fredrika Newton, head of the Dr. Huey P. Newton Foundation.
As of Dec. 31, 2025, ¸Ô±¾ÊÓÆµ has raised more than $5.9 million for the ¸Ô±¾ÊÓÆµ Fund. This milestone places the University more than halfway toward its $10.4 million goal for the 2026 fiscal year.
