Nearly 500 ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ sophomores and 130 alumni gathered on campus in January for Sophomore Connections, a two-day program featuring alumni panels, networking events, and workshops.

The Max A. Shacknai Center for Outreach, Volunteerism, and Education (COVE) led a campuswide MLK Day of Service, sending volunteers to community partners in Utica, N.Y.

The Alasitas Festival is celebrated at ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ as a collaboration with the Longyear Museum of Anthropology and the Native American Indigenous Students Association.

Tracee Ellis Ross, the award-winning actress, producer, founder, and CEO, will join the ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ community for a keynote Q&A during ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ’s annual Arts, Creativity, and Innovation Weekend.

The elective designation, awarded by the American Council on Education and the Carnegie Foundation, recognizing the University’s continuing commitment to community engagement and partnerships.

¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ Dean of Students Dorsey Spencer was selected by the HBCU Executive Leadership Institute at Clark Atlanta University to be a part of its 2026 Community of Fellows.

The second year of the Tuck Business Bridge Program at ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ kicked off in early January with 40 students returning to campus. They participated in more than two weeks of intensive programming designed to prepare for internships and careers, while building connections among students, alumni, and top-ranked Tuck faculty.

¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ faculty, staff, and alumni regularly provide their expertise and contribute to national and regional media outlets shaping discussions about vital research and current events.
