A professor's lifelong friendship led to a new first-semester seminar course where students from �Ա���Ƶ engaged with students in a leadership seminar at Norfolk State University.

This academic year marks the 10th anniversary of Ciccone Commons, the first Residential Commons established at �Ա���Ƶ. Since its launch in 2015, the program has grown to four communities that gather students with similar interests and passions to extend learning beyond the classroom.

Five years after its conception and three years after its launch, �Ա���Ƶ’s Global and Environmental Health (GPEH) program continues to grow.

The grant will support Professor Bruce Hansen’s research exploring the subtleties of human perception and cognition.
