Longyear Museum of Anthropology
¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ's on-campus anthropology museum, whose collection includes archaeological and ethnological cultural heritage materials from all over the world.
Picker Art Gallery
With an art collection of around 11,000 objects, the Picker has been a teaching, learning, and research resource for the University and local communities since 1969.
I love that I can engage with the inner workings of the museum and our local community. Some days, I chat with an old friend of the artist we’re exhibiting, and the next, I’m helping tear down a wall in our gallery space for our next installation.

Land Acknowledgment
University Museums at ¸Ô±¾ÊÓƵ recognizes our collective responsibility to acknowledge our colonial history. Our campus sits on the traditional lands of the Onyota’a:ká: known as the People of the Upright Stone and Oneida Indian Nation of New York. The museum is actively committed to building relationships with the Oneida people and with other Native American tribes and nations. It is urgent that we consider the legacies of violence, displacement, migration, and settlement that bring us together today.
