The Department of Economics has three new hires beginning this fall:
Joe Adamo received his PhD from Syracuse University in 1996. He taught at Cazenovia College from 1983 until 2023, and he has also taught at Utica University. He will be teaching accounting.
Tarana Chauhan received her PhD from Cornell University in 2024. From 2024 to 2026 she was a postdoctoral research associate at Brown University. She is an applied microeconomist with interests in development economics, labor economics, gender, and political economy. She will be teaching courses in econometrics and gender in the economy.
Eric Robertson received his PhD from the University of Virginia in 2026. Professor Robertson is an economic historian with additional interests in development economics, political economy, and environmental economics. He will be teaching courses in economic history.
