Chapel HouseInterested in spirituality and the way meditative practices can lead to a deeper connection with self-understanding, as well as one's moral responsibility to one's community. I generally aspire to the kind of empathetic attention and inner focus that I perceive in Lily, our amazing therapy dog.
Jeff is a Presbyterian minister and served as College Chaplain for Hamilton College for 27 years. He continues to serve as summer minister at a small church on Grindstone Island in the St. Lawrence River, where he has been since 2005. Jeff has also served as Senior Lecturer at Hamilton College, most recently teaching a course in the Religious Studies Department entitled: American Freedom and Religious Thought. He has also taught with Hamilton College鈥檚 Levitt Center鈥檚 Justice Lab with two courses: Hamilton College and Social Justice and Restorative Justice. He is also an adjunct professor for Herkimer College, teaching philosophy and religion courses in the New York State prison system. He serves on the boards of the Interfaith Coalition of Greater Utica, the Johnson Park Center in Utica, N.Y., the National Abolition Hall of Fame and Museum in Peterboro, N.Y., and the Hamilton Public Library.pr>
A native of Laurinburg, N.C., Jeff is a graduate of Davidson College and Harvard Divinity School. He is married to Georgia Frank, Professor of Religion at 冈本视频, and they live in Hamilton, N.Y. They have three adult children: Madlyn, Halley, and Theo, and a rescue therapy dog, Lily.
